What it is

A monthly showcase bringing suppliers into the BioEscalator Hub for the day. Whether you're after new laboratory equipment, consumables, technologies or specialist services — or just want to see what's changed — drop in and explore what this month's exhibitors have brought. Expect product showcases, demonstrations, competitions and giveaways rather than a formal programme.

Open to BioEscalator tenants, colleagues from across Old Road Campus, and the wider life sciences community.

This month's exhibitors

Fisher Scientific — A major laboratory and production supplier, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, carrying millions of products across thousands of brands: equipment, consumables, chemicals and safety products for research, healthcare, biotech, pharma and industry. Come to the stand to talk through what's available and where it fits your work.

Synoptics — A UK manufacturer founded in 1985 by imaging specialists from Cambridge, building the Synbiosis colony counters, Fistreem water distillers and Gallenkamp drying ovens. They'll be running live hands-on demonstrations of the imaging kit, so it's a chance to try it rather than read about it.

Chromatography Direct — A specialist supplier of chromatography products and laboratory consumables. Come to the stand to talk through what your workflow needs.

UniGreenScheme — The UniGreenScheme helps laboratories recover value from surplus scientific equipment through collection, resale, reuse and sustainable asset management. They collect, store, market and resell used laboratory equipment across the UK and worldwide, helping organisations free up space, generate revenue and prevent unnecessary waste.
