GROW: Leadership and Resilience

What can the unexpected turns in a career teach you about leading?

Registration closes at 12pm on Monday 9 November.
whats on webinar

What it is

A story-led online session with Dr Martine Abboud, an entrepreneur and former researcher. She shares 15 lessons in leadership and resilience from her move from academia into entrepreneurship.

Through practical examples, guided reflection and an interactive STAR storytelling exercise, you’ll look at how to handle setbacks, make values-led decisions, build strong networks and stay resilient through change.

You’ll get a reflection worksheet in advance. You’ll leave with practical tools, new perspectives, and a story you can use in future applications, interviews and career conversations.

Like the rest of the GROW series, it’s for researchers who want to explore what’s next, whichever path they choose.
