International Growth & Market Entry Programme

Got an established Oxfordshire business and one overseas market in mind? Spend three months testing it properly.

whats on online 2503

What it is

A fully funded, three-month programme for established Oxfordshire businesses with export ambition. It runs as four interactive online workshops with 1:1 sessions and accountability calls in between. Each business works on one real international opportunity, whether that’s choosing a market, picking a route in, preparing for a trade show or building overseas sales leads, and leaves each session with clear priorities to act on before the next.

It’s led by international growth specialist Norma Foster for a cohort of 12 businesses. Once you register, Enterprise Oxfordshire will arrange a short onboarding call to check fit.

The four sessions

  • Tue 10 Nov — Market readiness and opportunity. A quick audit of how your business looks to international buyers today, the foundations of export readiness and some immediate quick wins.
  • Wed 2 Dec — Where in the world, and why? Choosing the best market rather than the easiest one, and not spreading yourself across too many.
  • Tue 12 Jan — Routes to market. The most practical way into your pilot market with the time and budget you actually have.
  • Tue 2 Feb — Export sales and lead generation. Finding and approaching buyers, building relationships across cultures, managing a pipeline and marketing internationally as an SME.

Who it’s for

Oxfordshire businesses that:

  • have been actively trading for at least 12 months
  • plan to start exporting in the next 6 to 12 months, or already export and want to grow or enter new markets
  • have a pilot project in mind to work on
  • can commit to every session and the actions in between
  • can name a single lead from the business to take part

If your business doesn’t meet these criteria, Enterprise Oxfordshire offers other support.
