#StartedinOxford Demo Night
The #StartedinOxford Demo Day is an EnSpire event and a celebration of the Oxford startup scene, showcasing some of the best early stage startups in and around Oxford.
Programme Overview
This event is a truly pan-Oxford event, featuring a section of hand-picked startups, spinouts and social enterprises linked to the University of Oxford and Oxfordshire in a fresher’s fair style setup. Attendees can meet each startup, and then “invest” in their favourites with #StartedinOxford dollars.
Each attendee will be given $1,000 #StartedinOxford dollars to invest in their favourite startup. The startup with the most investment at the end of the day will win the top prize, with two runners-up also benefiting from prize packages.
Last year’s prizes included £1000 package of legal support from Freeths, a membership to Grassroots, and £1000 cash prizes.
As an attendee you will get the opportunity to engage with Oxford-linked companies from a range of sectors and stages, as well as network with other attendees, including investors and key connectors in the Oxford-linked entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Who can apply?
The next #StartedinOxford Demo Day will be held in Trinity Term 2024. We take applications from student, staff, alumni and community startups, spinouts and social enterprises. All are welcome!
