OAF - Private Equity w/ Francesco Giuliani, MD — Oaktree Capital Management

We are excited to share our first open event of the term featuring Francesco Giuliani, Managing Director and Assistant Portfolio Management in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group. Oaktree Capital Management is a global leader in alternative investment with $192bn assets-under-management.

Francesco has had a life-long career within the energy sector, spanning across industry and investment. As a senior executive at General Electric, he managed M&A and operations, leading the Oil & Gas Equipment business to over $2bn in sales. Francesco also served as managing director at the private equity firm, First Reserve, where he spent 12 years specializing in control equity investments into US and European energy companies.

At Oaktree, Francesco is responsible for the origination, execution and portfolio management of European energy investments. His team executes the Power Opportunities strategy which targets companies providing critical infrastructure such as electric power, natural gas, and water. He also serves on the boards of various infrastructure companies such as Aqseptence Group, CEBAT and COL Group.
