Get Your Business Net Zero Ready, Or FAIL!

This event will help you to take the critical first / next step on your Net Zero journey.

Market pressure is mounting and this is only going to increase. For instance, every supplier to the NHS (with a contract over £10k) now has to have a carbon reduction plan and commit to Net Zero. Soon enough this will spread to every contract and market across the UK and beyond. Every customer will expect you to be taking action!

But don't panic, there are tools and experience available to help small businesses take action, and this Masterclass will walk you through a selection of these.

Before the Masterclass, if you wish to prepare a first version of your business carbon footprint so you are ready with questions, they recommend visiting: https://businessclimatehub.org/how-it-works/

Expert 1:1 support is available post-workshop to help you firm up your plans for Net Zero action.

The workshop will be led by Phil Curtis, a specialist in transforming businesses towards a high-performance culture with a sustainable future. He has a toolkit built through 30 years of leadership in global companies, small and large, across multiple sectors. His approach will help you to simplify your thinking, prioritise, and deliver meaningful changes that contribute to the global net zero transformation.

Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) scheme

The Growth Hub programme operates a Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) scheme. All SMEs which receive support under this programme are being aided under the UK Subsidy Control Act (2022) and The Subsidy Control (Gross Cash Amount and Gross Cash Equivalent) Regulations (2022 No. 1186).

MFA allows a beneficiary to receive up to £315,000 of Subsidy over a three-fiscal year period (i.e. the current and previous two fiscal years). The value of MFA given is the gross cash amount or the gross cash equivalent of the subsidy. The MFA value of this webinar is £724.00.

At the end of each financial year, OxLEP is required to tell you the total amount of support you have received from them. By signing up to the event you are consenting to OxLEP holding your data in line with their Privacy Policy - OxLEP Business to allow them to do this. They will only send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting if you opt in to marketing.
