Working in research-intensive and fast-growth environments can be rewarding, but it can also create sustained pressure, high cognitive load, and increased risk of burnout.
This Lunch & Learn with mental health consultant and speaker Mark Simmonds will focus on how high-performing workplaces can maintain strong results while supporting mental wellbeing. Drawing on his experience in corporate management and workplace training, Mark will explore how pressure presents in demanding environments and outline practical approaches to sustaining performance without compromising mental health.
The session will provide actionable strategies that founders, senior leaders, and team members can apply within their organisations. The aim is to raise awareness, encourage reflection on workplace culture, and support our wider wellbeing initiative within the BioEscalator community.
