20th ETF Portfolio Challenge

The ETF Global® Portfolio Challenge is an individual-based, simulated investment challenge designed to serve as a fun and educational tool to help educate college students about investing and Exchange-Traded Products. Through this website, students can familiarize themselves with the contest – its rules, registration instructions, sponsors & supporters, weekly performance updates, participating schools, and other important resources.

It’s Fun and Great Experience in Finance
Contestants vie against each other to construct the top-performing portfolio of ETFs. Each contestant competes on the investment performance of their respective virtual portfolio.

The ETF Global® Portfolio Challenge takes place semi-annually, generally aligning with the start and finish of each semester. The top 25 winners from each contest are recognized in a variety of ways including on our social media pages, on this website and in-person at the leading ETF industry conference, The ETP Forum held in New York City.

Contest Timeline
February 21st, 2025: Registration Closes, Initial Portfolio Due
February 24th, 2025: Performance Period Begins
May 2nd, 2025: Performance Period Concludes

Contest registration dates are intended to generally align with the start and finish of each semester. Participants may enroll any time prior to the contest registration deadline.

Contest Prizes
Aside from sharpening your investment skills and educating yourself in Exchange-Traded Funds, students will compete for a variety of exciting prizes!

All winners will be notified shortly after the end of the performance period. Winners may be required to provide a valid student ID.

ALL TOP 25 CONTEST WINNERS will win the option to have their names and contact information displayed on our website and at the ETP Forum in NYC. Getting their name seen by 500+ Financial Professionals at this prestigious event.
