Edge Hackathons
A short, intensive experience that provides students with a collaborative environment to address themed real-world problems, develop and test innovative solutions, receive expert feedback, and build practical entrepreneurship skills.
Delivered by Oxford Edge and supported by EnSpire Oxford.
Programme Overview
Hackathons provide students with a low-barrier, collaborative space to explore ideas, tackle real-world challenges, build and test solutions, receive feedback, and develop practical innovation and problem-solving skills.
Participants hear from industry speakers, form multidisciplinary teams, explore a challenge, and develop a solution with support from mentors throughout. They finish by pitching an MVP or prototype to a judging panel and receiving feedback. Sessions are delivered with a varied mix of academic and industry partners.
