Programme Overview
For women DPhil students in STEMM at Oxford who want to create exciting futures, SeedWISE offers a chance to meet your tribe and interact with innovation learning that prompts self-reflection and actionable plans for success on your terms.
The programme opens with an online induction, followed by three full in-person days at roughly three-week intervals across Michaelmas and Trinity Terms. It is delivered by MPLS Divisional Office and MPLS Enterprise with Emma Williams (external trainer).

SeedWISE is for women at a very early stage — those undertaking a DPhil or PhD in a STEMM subject who are curious about venture creation as a possible future path, without necessarily having an idea or any business background yet.
SeedWISE is open to the University of Oxford community, including postgraduates and DPhils.
SeedWISE is application-based. Attendance at the online welcome call confirms your place on the programme.
Application deadline for Michaelmas 2026-27 cohort is on: Friday 18 September 2026.
Please note that the programme askes for a fully refundable £40.00 deposit when enrolling; this is refunded to you on successful completion of the course.
Dates for Michaelmas 2026-2027: The programme runs from Monday 5 October 2026 - Monday 23 February 2027. Attendance to all dates is expected from participants.
