Venture Capital Lab (VC Lab)

Curious how investment really works? Learn it from the inside.

Programme overview

VC Lab, delivered by  Oxford Saïd Entrepreneurship Centre, is a co-curricular programme introducing current Oxford students to venture capital. You don't need a finance or investment background.

You'll learn how early-stage investors assess founders, markets and technologies, how funds are structured and run, and how the venture ecosystem works in the UK and internationally. Sessions combine workshops with real investment exercises, using live company cases, and you'll work alongside students from across the University.

It's designed for anyone considering a career in venture capital, or a founding or operating role in the technology and innovation economy.
