An enterprise course by and for women.
Programme overview
RisingWISE, delivered by MPLS Enterprise, is an award-winning joint programme for early-career women researchers in STEMM at Oxford and Cambridge. It's designed by women, for women, and delivered entirely by women.
It builds the confidence, skills and networks to shape a career in academia, industry or entrepreneurship. You'll learn alongside other women researchers and hear directly from women founders in STEMM. Past participants have described it as life-changing.
The programme runs over seven days across four months, opening in person in London, moving online for the middle sessions, and finishing with a two-day in-person session at Cranfield University, including a one-night residential with transport and accommodation funded.
Applications for the 2026/27 cohort are now closed.
How to apply
RisingWISE is application-based and open to women in STEMM research fields. Attendance at all seven days is expected.
- Day 1: 7 November 2026, 10:30–16:00, in person in London
- Day 2: 21 November 2026, 09:00–15:45, online
- Day 3: 5 December 2026, 09:00–15:45, online
- Day 4: 16 January 2027, 09:00–15:45, online
- Day 5: 6 February 2027, 09:00–15:45, online
- Days 6 and 7: 5–6 March 2027, in person at Cranfield University
